Ah, Monday again. Today I am writing with a full heart. So many exciting things are happening right now, and I finally feel like I'm breaking out of the monotony that was my life these last few months. Yesterday was my bridal shower, I'm heading to Omaha to visit Kati on Thursday, and I get to see Walker (for the first time in two months) next weekend. Life's pretty darn good!

The Good - My bridal shower yesterday was absolutely delightful. Courtney, Kelley, and my mom did an incredible job putting it all together (they kept almost everything a surprise!) and the whole thing was just lovely. I'm going to give you a full recap tomorrow, but here's an outfit picture to hold you over til then!

The Bad - There was SO much food left over and I ate WAAAAY too much of it for dinner last night. My sister and I were firing down chocolate covered strawberries like crazy - so much so that we officially declared that the wedding diet be in effect ASAP. Okay, fine, we decided that it starts next Monday. I have every intention of gorging myself on margaritas and Mexican food with Kati this weekend!
The Ugly - My mom and I spent SIX.WHOLE.HOURS working on wedding invitations on Friday. It was a total nightmare trying to figure it all out, but we pushed through it and ordered 'em. I can't tell you how excited I am to finally check that off the list.

Wedding invitations are the worst!!! They take sooo much time. I feel for you! But it sounds like your shower was great and you look so beautiful in the dress/cardi from Francescas!!! And calories don't count when it's leftover shower food, right?!
My husband and I printed out our own wedding invitations. It was a nightmare. It was so stinkin' hard to center it on those itty bitty envelopes and try not to get ink smudges on things. Ugh! I feel for you!

I don't even want to think about wedding invitations yet. I can only imagine spending 6 hours on it! I'm glad you got another thing crossed off your list though!
